A note on leadership: As a new church, Sacred City has not officially established elders, deacons and church membership. As a church we believe that these offices are needed to be healthy (Titus 1:5, 1 Timothy 3). That being said, a new church (or “church plant”) does not have elders or deacons at the beginning (Acts 14:23). Lord willing, Sacred City will select elders in the early years of the church. Walnut Creek Church, SCC’s sending church, will assist with the selecting of elders as SCC seeks to be a healthy and accountable body of believers.
